In the present day is all connecting with sex. Can be something new in the erotic novel? Book ,,Spring games in the autumn gardens" is contemplative view on life one man. This novel is for man, but for women too. Important axion is responsibility and affected conscience.

In the 1991 was published novel ,,Девы ночи". It is criminal novel. Sergei Bondarchuk said about this novel that: "Blossoming Brezhnev stagnation end of the 70 years, anti-social protagonist, for whom the figure is guessed free young artist Yuri Vynnychuk, prostitutes, pimps, alcoholics, the language rid of stamps, feeling some kind of inner freedom unlimited text." Of course poetry ordinary days, too. Yuri Vinnichuk has phantasmagoric thinkink. It is impossible to write something completely realistic and without mysticism and otherworldly phantasmagoria. That literary originality of Yuri Vynnychuk stands on three pillars: black humor, sensuality and "magic realism". It formed the artistic taste of the writer. Vinnichuk said he worked for him writers ,,magical realism." Social realism was so disgusting for him. All realism was boring for him, too. He was interested to science fiction. But not space, not science, and approximate to the tale. Latino he liked the most. And also writers as: Kafka, Bierce, Landolfi, Eliade, Lovecraft, Haggard ... They are for him as an electric charging. He was enriched their styles. He learned, finally, how to build dialogs (primarily, Hemingway, and of our - in Teslenko and Vynnychenka). And how to describe something. He learned from the Ukrainian Writers, he read a lot of them, he adopting some interesting expressions, words, compare. In his own words.

His for-ordination - castle where to send Malva Landa. Unsuspecting of the danger has disappeared from the horizon. And now the hero is doomed to wander the time. For example: you are bored to live - you take a certificate stating that you have died, and you wandered around the city a living corpse. But any more your step will not remain unnoticed. Here runs the police commissioner - schizophrenic Linder. He and the prosecutor and the lawyer and the judge, and the warden and hangman. In a domestic environment it is also one-man band: the chef and the butler and gardener. Bumblyacevich's life is in danger. Linder sentenced him to death by hanging for spying. But a woman came to help Bumblyacevich's.

Sure, the novel "Malva Landa" each reader will perceive differently. And each see in it something of their own. Perhaps bad utopia in which the whole world will soon turn into one big junkyard. Perhaps conventionalization medieval courtly romance, which is available all the necessary ingredients. For example hero - knight without fear and without reproach, beautiful lady, who is Fata Morgana. Perhaps another sample ghostly postmodern phantasmagoria that Yuri Vinnychuk created by letting your imagination fly away. But is impossible not to agree: the language in which the novel was written - exquisite. A huge number of purely catchwords, and coined the name of various creatures, animals, plants emphasize the nationality of Yuri Vynnychuk creativity, it is demonstration that he is masters the Ukrainian word. There are more languagesborrowed from French. They are employed for the convenience of the reader. And even written out in a separate glossary at the end of the novel. Some readers will be irritated because of these words. And others will be thrilled applying exotic words.

I think, that many people this book will appeal. Offers an escape from the reality of life. Refreshes the mind. May be the topic of intellectual conversations. We can assessed the psychological profiles of the characters. We can thinking about the motives of the writer. But we can simply have fun.

In 2005 a book forum Literary Agency ,,Pyramid" has presented a novel by Yuri Vynnychuk with the intriguing title ,,Spring Games in Autumn Gardens". Was in the positioned as ,,the most anticipated literary event of 2005". And it was right. In fact in the ,,Ukrainian Book of the Year BBC BBC", the novel was named the best in the opinion as of the reader and the expert jury. It is deeply intimate and candid work. There are a touching with impression penetrability problems of love and death. This novel is about memories. Writer describes the events of a decade ago. According to the writer it were in progress with him. ,,I did not write a memoir but novel. There is a lot of biographical but something I excogitated, as life, is not so full of interesting stories. Sometimes I was a little to invent to novel looked solid and was not boring. But overall this is autobiographical work. Share of fiction here - small. Except that all the events I squeezed in time." Despite of the essential character of the novel - the famous Lviv writer and journalist. His wife announces him about the divorce the most inhumane way. Night call from the United States is for first time after six months of silence. As a consequence the only choice is to escape the pessimism are - wild life filled with alcohol and sex. Of course, the hero before to break with his wife did not miss either one or the other.

But now he felt truly free man.The reader is presented to a gallery of mistresses. There are secondary females. They haven't great attention from the main character. But with four women he maintains relations. Regular or irregular. With each of them associated only sex. And author devotes for each section of the text. Women are created to love and betrayal. Is it possible to love them and then transform into literature. At each appreciates something else. And each of them he loves and appreciates him for something else. An intellectual Vera, nympho Lida, slightly resigned stripper Lesya, and finally, a mysterious, not by age wise 15-year-old Mariana. ( again pedophile : ( element: my note ). Last stands out among all the women of the hero and that's associated with the abstract theme of death. Or rather - suicide. The young beautiful girl has decided to end her life and offers to take part in this romantic action hero.

My note:
The emotional development of human is completed approximately in 24 year as the scientist tell. Prefrontal cortex is responsible for that. Therefore I put sad emotion sign for every sexual motivated sentence what are related teenagers under age limit.

ontinuation of the preceding paragraph:

Mariana deliberately stirs interest in it self. She starts correspondence communication. She delaying the time of the meeting and disappearing for a long time. And then she re-appearing on the horizon. However, she does not hide his desire to ,,fall in love to death." And over time, the hero realizes, that really almost in love with this strange girl with a ,,memory lapses." Fulminating composition - the love between a mature man and a young girl and suicide as sad (or happy) ending their relationship. Half-mystical end of the story readers might not know if it was not a fluke, the hero who helped discover the true cause of the desire of Mariana to death. There are parallels with the novel by Hermann Hesse ,,Steppenwolf". In both novels is an element of mysticism. Each of them is given a lot of space for reflection on the deliberate departure from life. Mariana convinces the main character of the need to die. Convinces him many reasons and desiderating to her goal. In addition, Yuri Vynnychuk introduced into the text of next hero. He does not allow the novel to remain unrealistic to remain. Seeing his friend on the island, he tells him to Mariana: ,,poet Gritsko Chubay". More than ten years ago died at the age of Jesus. Each generation must be someone who dies at the age of Jesus. So, we have to deal with the ghost of a talented poet, who destroyed the system and the impossibility of living in an atmosphere of fear and suspicion. He wrote not for the ,,masses", but only for "him" really intelligent fans.

To be continue...

And of course, he was wicked in the Soviet government. As ,,civil society has spread beyond the boundaries of the narrow dissident groups, creating a parallel, beyond the control mode of literary and creative world, to develop alternative, independent of SPU-CPU-KSMU youth intellectual environment." Throughout the novel, the main character, appearing with Mariana on the island, she sees and hears Gritsko reads the poem and comments on the events. And it was with him at the end of the story when the hero leads a conversation about his life and attended his thoughts of suicide. Of course, in all of novell are sexual scenes. The line between erotica and soft porn is barely distinguishable. Sex is really a lot. Talk about it. And the process itself, which (contrary to many attacks against Vynnychuk) described imaginatively and not vulgar. Somewhere lyrically, somewhere with a fair amount of humor. There is an episode in which the hero comes with Lida for lunch to her parents. There he, the author of ,,The Life of a harem," has been heavily criticized her aunt Roksolana. She becomes protect the purity and innocence his famous namesake. She alleging hero of promiscuity and desire "spoil" her well-bred niece. And during this moralizing niece with the hero doing things under the dining table which bred girls ought not to be engaged. Just can not bring an ironic smile scene in which the protagonist, along with two other girls, not to the extent of passionate spirituality, feel for each other's spiritual "centers."
Despite the great popularity of the all-Ukrainian Yuri Vynnychuk creativity, most of his readers and admirers - yet the inhabitants of Galicia, and he has won recognition among them, primarily due to its local history books about Lviv, which are so popular that the publisher always have to print additional copies "Legends of the city "(6 editions, 1999-2003.)" Restaurants of Lviv "(4th edition, 2000-2004.)," Secrets of Lviv coffee "(3 editions, 2001, 2003, 2004.). These three semi-documentary-polumistfitsirovannye meeting ,,legends" and ,,secrets." These three semi-documentary-polumistfitsirovannye meeting ,,legends" and ,,secrets." Something they resemble the so-called ,,calendars" - popular in the early twentieth century Galicia yearbooks: thick books in which is a huge amount of news and gossip, serious analysts and "yellow" sensations, interspersed photographs and color advertising. All three books were published and Lviv literary agency "Pyramid", which Yuri Vinnychuk cooperated for a long time, and since 2000, and is its chief editor.

The "Pyramid" uses his name as a trademark. And publishes a series of books dedicated to Lviv called ,,Yuri Vinnychuk introducing." In turn, Vinnychuk offered the owner "Pyramids" publisher Basil Gutkovskaya establish a series of ,,Fest prose". There already printed infamous ,,Recreation" by Yuri Andruhovych. For the first time in the full version, uncensored, and before the text put angry letters "pornography" readers. In the near future in the series will be the book of the Austrian writer Gustav Meyrink "Golem" is translated Basil Sofroniva-Levitsky. As well as the anthology "Ukrainian gothic prose XIX century", composed Vinnychuk. Compilation of anthologies in general is his favorite pastime. Moreover, Yuri Vinnychuk believes that catch on the pages of old newspapers and magazines works of forgotten authors alike saving them from oblivion Ukrainian literature - a sacred duty of the writer. Anthology of Ukrainian fiction of the first half of the XIX century ,,Fiery Serpent", an anthology of Ukrainian literary fairy tale ,,Silver Book of Fairy Tales", ,,Anthology of Ukrainian postmodern story", a collection of legends and fairy tales of the Ukrainian people in the Bible stories ,,Bible Tales", an anthology of Ukrainian gothic fiction of the twentieth century ,,Hereafter "(series ,,Gothic ") - all of this is his handiwork. Alike in the following book series "Pyramid", which is called "Mitologiya". Has already come out in 2004 devilry anthology entitled ,,The devil knows that". It is works of Ukrainian writers. There they mentions devil. The anthology includes medieval apocrypha, Lives of the Saints, the terrible stories of the church fathers XVI - XVIII century. As well as the texts of the classics (Nikolai Gogol, Panteleimon Kulish, Ivan Franko, Vasyl Stefanik, Marko Vovchok). And contemporary authors, including Valery Shevchuk, Yuri Andrukhovich Emma Andrievska Vladimir Eshkilev Lipa, himself Yuri Vinnychuk. Anthology is divided into thematic sections. The Devil is displayed in different positions. Devil-tempter, the devil-wrecker, damn-the antichrist, the devil in love, and even the devil helper.

Anthology ,,The devil knows that" preceded by ,,The Book of beasts". It was published in the series "Mitologia" first, in 2003. Peculiar collection of monsters generated inexhaustible popular imagination, collected in the encyclopedia. There are descriptions of each of them served in a light and witty style. In the near future a series replenish the "Book of Witches," "Book of Angels" and "Book of Dreams". Translation activities Yuri Vynnychuk undoubtedly also deserves attention, too. Of particular interest is the translation Yuri Vinnychuk selected prose of the famous Czech writer Bohumil Hrabal, in his book ,,Chudil", released in 2003, Lviv Publishers ,,Classics" in the series ,,Kolektsіya Perfetskogo".
,,I became interested in the works of Hrabal's somewhere in the 70s. Presented he to me writer Gritsko Chubay. Language is easy and understandable. Those who know Polish, Hrabal you can read in the original just with a dictionary. I know Czech from childhood. Works in this book (the stories of ,,black" humor) - is not the best that Hrabal wrote. There are many luxury films in his stories. His characters are mostly crooks and liars. Their language is lively and interesting."
Working on the translation of Hrabal, Vinnychuk tried Galician dialect, because it sounds juicy bright accent Prague, where he lived Hrabal, and it was simply impossible to translate pure literary language.

From Wikipaedia:
Bohumil Hrabal was a Czech writer, regarded by many Czechs as one of the best writers of the 20th century. He wrote in an expressive, highly visual style. His works have been translated into 27 languages.

My note:
Even if a person dies from his works we can learn a lot about his ideas. It follows that the talented writers were given a wonderful gift. Are mortal, but many unforgettable.

There are two nations in the world that the whole history of his people try to present only as a history of a people persecuted, despised and broken forever. Both nations boast up his integrity and the decorated virginity, their exemplary kindness, lyricism, and especially - its toothless, because no one ever won, not spectacular, but always defended. Both nations are mad at their antiquity. And so much that, ending a dispute about the nationality of Jesus, Adam and Eve, in the end seize dinosaurs. The two nations are Jews and Ukrainian. And those and others erected masochism to any state-level. Strewing ashes on their heads and the constant nagging of one before the Western Wall, and the other in front of the ruins - has become a vital karma and one of the conditions of existence. Only Jews and Ukrainian knowing back off national tragedy to carnival celebration. And they can be above board, preferably in front of TV cameras, a wash of tears. God let only them survive holocaust. According to them, anyone who questions the large number of victims is will become an apostate, a national traitor and a paid agent of the Palestinians, Muscovites or communists. Jews achieved that in place of individual concentration camps opened as museums. And anyone who still keeps the pleasure of seeing the photographed corpses, severed heads, naked women in line at the gas chamber, infants with crushed heads may in the end get their portion of fear, disgust and pain. As required by the soul of every righteous masochist.

My note:
Upon initial translation this article I have to express their opinion. The definition of masochism may seem correct. But how we can our children helping demonstrate, that this was not fiction?! In every tragedy is someone who denies it. Perhaps for lack of empathy, perhaps for inability to understand it. Or for efforts to improve the profile of the originator of evil. Each inhumanity is shocking and confusing. It is difficult to cope with its existence. Unfortunately, this method only shows what kind of people they can be. Or they are no longer people, but a new, demonic species?

Unfortunately, concentration camps, in which tortured Ukrainians, are located in less accessible places. But I think someone comes to mind one amazing idea. For example backup redo Siberian camps on the scale of one to one in the territory of a sovereign, and we got to his Wall crying. But for clarity, as befits a museum under the open sky, wishing will issue a camp form, and each, depending on the personal inclinations, though able to visit political prisoner, as though - its executioner. No wonder Sacher-Masoch wrote that he heard a Ruthenian. Who could be the founder of masochism? Only one of us. For only we like to be a nation-martyr, people-sufferers. Who is still waiting for his Moses? We, Ukrainian. Other peoples themselves, sometimes blindly, but still went out of the desert. But we do not go blindly. We know that Moses must come and lead us along. What civilized people could collect funds for cultural revival. But we do not understand. We are collecting funds for the monuments. And in large quantities. And vain, when, instead of a new large lump Lenin put no better large lump Shevchenko. It is important that reached their. Instead to stone soldiers in helmets occupy stone warriors in mazepinkah. One thing they have in common - it's still kind of goofy faces.

This is sequel article about his thoughts:
Here we overtook the Jews. Especially we succeeded with the national colors. Blue and yellow colors decorate shops, trucks, poles, transformer rooms, gates, fences, buses. According to the number of songs that should be done while standing and listening, we outperformed all the civilized nations of the world. There, on the rotten West heroic songs sound only on holidays. But we, when Aunt Stefa welcomes uncle City with name-day, the very "Red viburnum." Uncle City instead congratulate aunt that she "Has Not Yet Perished". Eat, drink, and sleep - like Ukraine," - wrote Panko Kulish. I saw in Vinnick funeral procession. Ahead of carrying banners and blue and yellow flags. Some people were dressed in embroidered, others - in the form of the UPA. Noticing familiar, I asked someone to bury. "Yes it is such a man ... You do not know," - he replied. "Maybe he was a hero?" - I asked, surprised by the number of flags. "So that the hero is not, but the Ukrainian was sincere." Golden times arrive. Enough to be sincere Ukrainian and solemn funeral secured. What a holiday, I visited a public toilet on Liberty Avenue. While I took his place by the wall, which sounded cheerful melody of closet recorder...

Sequel:

...suddenly my ear with horror caught painfully familiar intro. There was the ,,Red viburnum." I was fright and I felt stomach cramps and I thank God that did not belong in such a crucial moment in the cockpit, because would have ripped off his feet. But those that were there, obviously, were not so sincere Ukrainian, as the one who arranged for a paid service in the restroom. It was certainly a patriot.
Long stay in captivity we have created a kind of servile instincts. And we have learned from experience the true pleasure of life of servitude. And so it is in our blood came, he received freedom, the thought is still, as a nation of slaves.
Slavery Spirit incurable.
I stand alone among the dumb oxen and bulls. At the roar of a big old desert of beef, cows and bulls and their various calves hopes Ukraine.
I stand and I think:

Here live commanded

Between creatures that ever and ever your in darkness.
Ages and memorable one wild zeal?
It also Panko Kulish.
He is right that all these romantic esteem in which we are so proud, it do not characterize us as a nation, but as a set of choreographed songs and dances. And all our historians wrote out the story of the people, who are toothless, spineless, people-slave, forever chained to a galley her grief of the people, and the poor fellow loser, which all beat, nudged, and humiliated...

Sequel:
Because it wrote from the perspective of a slave, not a hero.
No wonder they do here what conclusions: ,,Ukraine in its history had virtually no state. There were two periods when it tried to establish their own state from 1648 to 1654 and after the October Revolution. Both attempts were strangled. Were two tentatives for an independent existence in a number of European countries, Ukraine was a province of Russia, and then - the Soviet empire. No wonder they say ,,the Ukraine", but never say ,,to Russia," ,,to France" ... ("Century XX and peace", № 12, 1991). Most interesting is that this opinion is shared by many Ukrainian. Some of them even make the existence of the state in times of Kiev and Galich Rusiyu. But from then on - all solid captivity.
The fact that Ukraine was united with Lithuania, it is treated as a Lithuanian domination. But where, in what wars we won Lithuania? And why, winning, pointed the Ukrainian state language? Only in the 70s of the XVIII century began ,,the process of implementing the Ukrainian lands imperial structures of power. But the final form it acquired only in the 1830s" (A. Subtelny, ,,History of Ukraine", 1992). ,,Until then, the city enjoyed Ukraine municipality under the laws of Magdeburg law. In 1835, the last among the cities of Kiev lost a special status, which provides for this right". Something that, as signs of statehood? Why do we claim that we did not have statehood after the Khmelnytsky? It is true that Ukraine was a colony. But at the same time - the state.

Just as there are many states in the form of colonies on all continents. Let was a national and cultural oppression. But, at all, Ukraine lived by their own laws. It had its own proceedings, a military unit; everything that makes the state government.
Why do we have, however, there is a set of stateless people?
Who do we have in the Middle Ages ruled? We ourselves. Wait, but it's also a lie. After Vladimir the Great was the Basileus, Emperor. In Galicia there were several kings. But everywhere persistently write ,,Prince Vladimir", ,,Prince Danilo." Ukrainian nation moved the two forces. One consisted of statists. Others - from anarchists. Ukrainian anarchy takes its origins from the ancient times when the foundations of our nation began to undermine Kuman - residents Wild field, the ancestors of the Zaporozhye Cossacks. Polovtsi not were Turks, as all travelers describe them exactly as Europeans, blonde hair, blue eyes. Polovchanki famous for their beauty and women willingly took the princes and boyars. Polovtsian Warriors wore a mustache and a horseshoe clip out of herring. In the ,,Word about Igor's regiment" is mentioned crimson flag and favorite Polovtsian defense - the camp of wagons. After losing the fight, they retreat from exactly how Berestechko: shed clothes, weave causeway and so overcome the swamp. Cumans, like the Cossacks, not handed fencers, but unbeatable hand.
And this is bizzare gushiness our nation for antiquity Polovtsian!

And this worthy surprise sentiment of our people to the remains of antiquity Polovtsian! Who would have sang songs enemy graves? Recall Saur-tomb, which became our national.
Marco Polo had a guide - Polovets Peter, and in the description its is useless to seek Turkic features. No wonder the Cossacks in their letters to Catherine II noted that live on this land for a thousand years. That is still somewhere on the VII - VIII centuries.
After Lithuania, Ukraine and Belarus have united with Poland, we did not lose its statehood. Polonization captures only the tip of the nation, and the fact stick a catholic faith gentry did not testify. She betrayed his people and ceased to hear Ukrainian. It was all the same Ukrainian gentry, and that Ukrainian tycoons were rich and most revered because they had huge areas of land. The Polish king they called - ,,little kings." We inspire so much time in the head of the Polish invaders. Nobody gave trouble to look at it more closely. However, it turns out, all these Potocki, Czartoryski, Monastic, Vishnevetsky, Konetspolski - racial Ukrainian hereditary.
From whom freed us Khmelnitsky its war of liberation?
And all were in Ukrainian army. Farmers as well as gentry. Or will it not resembles civil war? Touching at first strange friendship between the Polish king and Khmelnitsky, who instigated the ,,Всип тим крулєв’ятам”. King, it appears, was deeply interested in the victory of Khmelnitsky, because Ukrainian tycoons have already created a state within a state, and slowly went to the fact that Ukraine could become a separate kingdom. And the king approached the one whom we call the executioner Ukraine - Yarema Vishnevetsky.

And that - really crucified, and hung on a stake planted. And what do you think will stand Rome, whatever the hanged and crucified? Where, in what state is not executed rebels? What other lord rebels fumbled? And where is France - what a gallant country! A schism emerged as the Knights Templar, all that singing Provence sword and fire destroyed.
We watch a movie about Spartacus and sympathize with the rebels slaves. But reflect on the fact that it would be with Rome and with its rich culture, if Spartak won? Terrible to imagine. And this is what happened with us. Rebellious Cossacks and peasants forever adiratuse state, which is already gaining strength for independent existence. Contemporaries describe how the King of Polandvisited Lviv in 1646 . Returning to Warsaw, he came to Jeremiah Vishnevetzkogo in White Stone. That the king saw there exceeded all guests, which he in his lifetime. The French embassy, which accompanied the king did not believe their eyes that such wealth has the usual tycoon. Several maids queens asked them to release from the service in order to stay at the court Yarema. Maybe it was then if crept into the royal heart envy to this newfound Korolik.
But back to the said piles, which were planted insurgents. Really - this was cruel death. But it should be assessed through the prism of that time period. In the XVII century on the laws that prevailed in the Rzeczpospolita, was acting a list of punishments for various crimes. Breaking bones stick, burying in the ground, stripping of a pass from the back, brace abdominal , hucks up and finally landing on the count. So, the attack on the road again and robbery were punished by the fact that the perpetrators impaled, huck up alive or hung on a hook behind the ribs. Thus, Yarema acted according to the then law and punish the rebels just as robbers. In historical novels that we slip chaste Ukrainian writers, Cossacks and rebellious masses depicted quite like brothers Musketeers Dumas. They are polite, and noble, and do not take someone else's, and only the guilty are punished. And when you have to get the sword, they do it just for the glory of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, in order to understand where the truth should look into the historical sources. And not just ours.
Liberation war of Bohdan Khmelnytsky destroyed Ukraine. Before her Cossacks fought successfully against the Poles Muscovites and Tatars, and beat the Turks. The so-called Polish domination in Ukraine, though it was burdensome for the Rzeczpospolita of people, but the whole of Europe rehearsed then serfdom, nobody lived easier. The brutality of the gentry, which suppress the uprising, was a response to the same brutality of the Cossacks and peasants.
In the history of the Cossacks Leon Kaltenberg section dedicated to the Cossacks. So as he, the Cossacks no one dared argue. And for good reason. Between corsairs and Cossacks have much in common.

All those virtues which we attribute to the Cossacks, even existing in the Cossack republic had and corsairs. Sober and went on hikes, and the prisoners were released ... And how to hike back, they drank up in taverns and pubs all they got. And the women they have the attitude is there. And religion. And it is difficult to enumerate all that unites. But one also stopped. When the pirates captured a city, then rob him, drove the surviving population and interrogated people where hidden treasures. ,,Some were simply tortured and beaten - describes contemporary. - Another staged torture of St. Andrew, pounding burning wicks between the fingers and toes. The third rope tied around the neck so that the eyes and climbed onto his forehead and becomes like chicken eggs. Woman belly ripped previously dishonor. A child's head smashed. Grandfathers beard burned ... " Well, okay. All this you know.
But when look into the annals of Wieliczka, we will learn interesting things. When Colonel Ganja Nestervar surrounded the city on the tail, the Poles bought off by the fact that he gave all the Jews from the property. And the Jews there were several thousand, so they matched up to the castle from many cities. ,,Ganja took from nestervarivskoi gentry ransom. And so that's not in the Ukraine there was not a Jew, and noblewomen became Cossack women. "
Once again I remind you that all the gentry had our blood and bones. And it is carved into a tree stump. Color nation. And here is what the then Jewish chronicler Nathan Hannover, which we do not like to quote: ,,Those who could not escape were killed in horrible agony. With some flayed, and his body thrown to be eaten by dogs. Another cut off the arms and legs, and torso left on the road, passed through their bodies trampled by horses and carts. Others, blood flowing from his wounds, was left to stir his own blood, not yet left their soul. And still others were buried alive. Children are cut into the abdomen of their mothers, many children are flogged to pieces how to fish. Pregnant bellies ripped up and planted there live cats, sewed them in the stomach. Thereafter obtinaly their hands, lest could take that cat. And hangs in infants of mothers breast or stuffed on the rampage and so solo on the fire, bring the mother to eat meat ... And there was such anguish in the world, no matter what the Cossacks have not applied ... The women and children were raped in front of their fathers and husbands ... and the same fate awaited everywhere not only Jews but also Poles. "

Well, let the Poles then thus rewarded. With them is clear. And what did this meal the Jews? Are they - tormented us, swear, or otherwise tortured? No, that's all that traded and rented a tavern and a church. That rent churches, when Jews were not given the keys to the church, demanding additional payment from the parishioners, retribution should be. But God is not so! There is plenty of evidence of the Ukrainian gentry of the atrocities against the civilian population of the Cossacks, and therefore suspect libel vain. Very interesting records left Orthodox nobleman How Erlich. He called the rebels ,,robbers, unworthy of the dogs, which are not worse than the sun." Capturing Olesko, they ,,pomorduvaly ladies, servants and Jews."
In addition, ,,entered in the name, the Cossacks senior ladies and young ladies were raped and then brutally tortured."
If you suspect Erlicha, though he and Ukrainian Orthodox, treachery, you go wrong. All war Erlich was forced to flee in Pechersk Lavra together with other Orthodox nobles. Or would the monks hid the villains? And here is a quote from the "History of the Rus': Enthusiastically Bar," made in the city and the castle of a terrible massacre, especially of Jews and their families, of which there is not alive, and thrown out of the city, and buried the dead in one barrack of about 15000 ".
There were Cossacks and candid blasphemy crashing gentry sarcophagi and robbed jewelry, scattering bones of the dead. That's what they did with the remains of Bratslav magistrates Lukas Zolkiewski, broke down the ring with a finger. And such cases was so much that you have to wonder the fate of the mortal remains of Khmelnitsky.

Unknown said...

Unknown said...

During the later USSR some Ukrainian writers started to deviate from the officially approved literary style of socialist realism. Among these writers were Valeriy Shevchuk with his psychological prose and the authors of "chymeric prose" (Vasyl Zemlyak and Volodymyr Drozd) similar to magical realism. There existed also underground literary circles like the Kyiv school of poetry, a circle of Lviv writers around the samizdat "Skrynya" almanac (Hryhoriy Chubay, Oleh Lysheha, Mykola Riabchuk, Viktor Morozov, Roman Kis, Orest Yavorskyi), separate dissident writers like Ihor Kalynets. Authors belonging to Kyiv ironic school (Volodymr Dibrova, Bohdan Zholdak, Les Poderevyansky) are considered to be the forefathers of Ukrainian postmodernism. Contemporary Ukrainian literature was also influenced by the New York group of Ukraininan emigre writers, who separated politics from their art in contrast to the politically active sixtiers writers in soviet Ukraine. source : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contemporary_Ukrainian_literature

Contemporary Ukrainian literature - Ukrainian literature of the past several decades. Most often 1991 as a year of Ukrainian independence is considered as a start of the contemporary Ukrainian literature as from that year on the literary censorship of the Soviet Union ceased to exist and writers were able to deviate from the official socialist realism style. Principal changes took place in Ukrainian literature already in the years of Perestroika (1985) and especially after the Chernobyl disaster. Some researchers consider that contemporary Ukrainian literature started from the 1970-s after the generation of the sixtiers.

Immediately after World War II, in the second half of the 1940s, Ukrainian literature outside of Soviet Ukraine experienced an unusually intensive period of development in the displaced persons' camps in western Germany and Austria. These camps, which had become home to over 200,000 Ukrainian war refugees, including a significant number of writers and literary scholars, represented a hub of fervent cultural activity, so much so that the period 1945-1949 is often referred to by scholars as the 'minor renaissance' of Ukrainian literature. Thrown together from various regions of Ukraine, writers managed to replay on a small scale the activity of the 1920s. They convened congresses, organized literary associations, and published almanacs, journals, and books. A key role in the period's most important literary organization, MUR, was played by the linguist, scholar, and literary critic, George Yurii Shevelov and the novelist Ulas Samchuk. Other most notable members of MUR included the dramatist, prose writer, essayist, and publisher Ihor Kostetsky; the writer and scholar Viktor Petrov (V. Domontovych), the politically ambivalent Yurii Kosach, and the poet Vasyl Barka. This 'minor renaissance' of Ukrainian literature came to an end in the early 1950s as the majority of the authors emigrated to North America and continued their literary work there. source : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_literature#List_of_notable_Ukrainian_writers
